Our office is compliant with OSHA “Occupational Safety and Health Administration” regulations. All of our operatory designs, our equipment, and the procedures we perform are part of our commitment to being sterile and safe.
Our sterilization procedures meet the Center for Disease Control Guidelines. We heat-sterilize all hand pieces and instruments after each use. We use gloves, jackets, masks, eye protection and barrier covers for each procedure. And we use only ADA approved disinfectants.
Digital x-rays also make our office safer. We have eliminated x-ray film and all the hazardous chemicals needed to develop and process the film. Furthermore, we are exposing you to 90% less radiation when you have an x-ray taken.
We use a closed system with distilled water in our office. Not only is all the sterilization done with distilled water, but all the water used during your visit is distilled. A water bottle is filled with distilled water and attached to your dental chair. That is the source for all water needs for your visit. You can feel safe that nothing is being transmitted with this advanced closed water system.
